Page 211: Selfishness. Tonight

/ Wednesday, March 13, 2013 /
I always believe that when somebody in your life just passed away and you feel sad, you are actually mourning for your loneliness. More concern for your own fear that you, as a human being has limit in this world. For your own selfishness.

And I want to be selfish tonight because this woman whom I consider as my other mother just passed away. As much as I know that she’s in a better place now, because she’s such a sweetheart, I still wish that I could spend more time with her.

But ah, rest in peace aunt Tuti. Thank you for all those good times and best lasagna I’ve ever had.

I love you.

We'll meet again
Another life

I tried to say I miss you tonight
And they claim you've already died
But the truth is that we're lost in time

Tugu Tani Accident was tragic and terrifying. Am shocked and grieved. Pray for all the victims and deep condolences to victims' families... That reckless driver is a murderer, hence she must be judged and punished accordingly.

“Only in death will we have our own names since only in death are we no longer part of the effort.
In death we become heroes.”

Sometimes,
Revenge is the other name for justice.

Some people must play God on the gray area.
Some wept and mourn.
Some took action in the name of human rights.
While others, can only kept their sympathy and expressed their condolences, somewhere, inside their chest...

"Never think that war, no matter how necessary, nor how justified, is not a crime."
Ernest Hemingway

For me, the real winners in every war are sorrow, pain, and despair. Not people. Each side that fights at the war is losing; soldiers in the battle field are forcing themselves to get rid of their compassion, children are losing their parents (sometimes, even their own life).

No, I don’t understand how could someone called torturing, killing people, killing babies, burning villages, and bombing, as victory.
I don't.
And i don't want to.

And my heart broke at War Remnants Museum and The Killing Fields. I was crying,

Every sudden death reminds us that what is not meant to be,
it's not meant to be.

Remind us;
that no matter how hard we tried, not all things belong to us.

Remind us;
that kids could be like a porcelain.  Look solid, but fragile. Spattering when they hit the ground. That sometimes, they tend to think they should responsible for some losses. And they feel guilty for some pains their beloved ones felt.

Remind us;
that human's heart has a great yet weird ability to love. That someone could love the unborn and the anonymous.

And somehow,
every death
also
remind us
about
